The spread of COVID-19 may necessitate changes in the way we learn, but it does not change our desire to continue learning or the importance of doing so. We know as precautions are taken to ensure the safety of our communities, we must find new methods to keep learning on track for everyone at every level.
That’s why Arizona State University has accelerated plans to provide learning tools and materials to keep all learners on track by launching ASU For You.
We have gathered some of our most valuable learning tools in one place to meet learners where they are, both in terms of physical location and educational needs.
ASU For You includes many learning tools at no cost such as virtual field trips; library access; video lessons, labs and simulations in K-12 subject areas; badge and certificate programs in areas such as health and well-being, smart cities and environmental science; tutoring, online courses and training videos for teachers or parents teaching from home; and courses for college credit.
ASU For You is part of ASU’s ongoing commitment to take fundamental responsibility for the communities we serve and provide access to all learners anywhere in the world. While these resources are valuable at any time, they are particularly relevant today given the circumstances we all face with COVID-19.
ASU For You will be updated regularly with new resources and tools. I encourage you to share these resources with your colleagues, family and friends – anyone who you think can take advantage of these tools.
We are here to serve you. If you have any questions about how ASU can help learning continue during COVID-19 and beyond, please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
