    On July 21, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Channel 8/KAET-TV and the KBAQ Production Studio will officially relocate to a new 223,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility on the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. The new leading edge, six-story facility, which has been underway for over a year, will house classrooms, newsrooms, computer labs, production studios, and administrative offices.

    ASU Research Magazine was recently named the best university research magazine in the United States by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). This major recognition is the pinnacle of 28 honors that ASU Research Publications has received this year alone for its outstanding work in communicating ASU's discovery efforts in compelling and innovative ways.

    May 13 marked the grand opening of the Global Institute of Sustainability’s new facility at ASU’s Tempe campus. The building, which is the epicenter of ASU Sustainability efforts and home of ASU’s School of Sustainability, was designed with the assistance of ASU students in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
    This week’s podcast features ASU President Michael Crow’s remarks during the building’s dedication which he sees as an important step in addressing the sustainability-related challenges that society faces.
