Last month, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and Channel 3 KTVK co-sponsored a televised Convening the Community Town Hall titled "Rebuilding Arizona's Economy." The forum included a panel of government, community and business leaders and covered a wide range of topics including the state budget, energy, education, leadership and other factors that stand to have a major impact on the future of Arizona. ASU President Michael Crow participated on the panel and discussed how the university is actively engaged in advancing the Arizona economy, as well as the effects of the state's current economic downturn.
