On March 9, 2009, ASU President Michael Crow, founder and chair of the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes at ASU, also known as CSPO, participated in a briefing before the U.S. Congressional Nanotechnology Caucus in Washington, DC. The briefing, which also included presentations by CPSO’s co-director and 13 recognized scholars studying the implications of nanotechnology, focused on enhancing public understanding related to nanotechnology and its applications.
This podcast features an interview with David Guston, co-director of CSPO, regarding ASU’s role in advancing the science of nanotechnology and the importance of building public understanding with reference to its ramifications.
