Dr. James Blasingame 2008 Professor of the Year

Date:
June 13, 2008

Since 1994, the ASU Parents Association has recognized teaching excellence through its Professor of the Year Award. Each year, the Association asked students, staff and other faculty to nominate ASU professors who “best exemplify a passion for teaching and who excel in both undergraduate teaching and in their area of research and/or creative activity.” Winners are selected by a committee of parents, students, faculty, and staff, and the winner receives a cash award of $10,000, funding for an undergraduate research assistant, and a lifelong designation as a Parents Association Professor.

This podcast features a conversation with Dr. James Blasingame, associate professor of English Education in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the 2008 ASU Parents Association Professor of the Year.
