University conversation helps ASU to move forward
On October 15, ASU President Michael Crow participated in the first of five Student Town Halls during the 2008-2009 academic year. The hour and a half forum was held on the ASU Tempe campus and was co-hosted by Undergraduate Student Government. The event gave students an opportunity to talk to President Crow about issues like tuition, financial aid, academic affairs and student services and to get answers from the university administration.
This week’s podcast features an excerpt of President Crow’s opening remarks touching on ASU’s efforts to meet student needs, its condition in the current financial environment and the challenges involved in advancing a competitive university.
