Each year, The College Board convenes a group of education professionals from diverse perspectives to discuss the critical issues facing contemporary higher education. On November 6, ASU President Michael Crow addressed The College Board Forum in Houston, Texas on the subject of engineering a new model for the modern public research university. Sun Devil Entrepreneurship: It's Local and Global
Over the last 6 years, Arizona State University has articulated a strong and ever growing commitment to the advancement of entrepreneurial education, both on local and global scales. While its broad “Entrepreneurship at ASU” initiative has taken off, in part through the success of efforts like the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative, ASU continues to establish new and better ways to help students turn their bright ideas into reality.

Arizona 2030 Conference - President Crow's Remarks
Arizona continues to be one of the fastest growing states in the nation and, as a result, faces many challenges in terms of planning for the infrastructure needed to adequately serve its future populace. In support of advancing a proactive dialogue among Arizona’s leaders to begin identifying the state’s needs in the decades ahead, ASU partnered with the Arizona Investment Council, the Thomas R. Brown Foundations, The Communications Institute, among others to host “Arizona 2030 Preparing for an Arizona of 10 million people: Meeting the infrastructure challenges of growth.”
This podcast features remarks offered by President Michael Crow at the event’s culmination regarding the importance of innovative and coordinated planning for Arizona’s future.
