2008 was a very busy and memorable year for Arizona State University. Continuing its evolution of the New American University, ASU again demonstrated the type of achievement, innovation and progress that distinguishes it as a model for 21st century education. 2008 Fall Commencement
On December 18 2008, approximately 5,000 Sun Devils became ASU alumni at the university's fall commencement ceremony. This week's podcast features ASU President Crow's remarks recognizing the achievements of our graduates, the importance of faculty, family and friends in student success, and issuing a call for our students to use their knowledge to better out society in these challenging economic times.
